There are incredible health benefits of coffee enema to savor. However, before that, it is important to know about coffee enema first. It comes from the two words: coffee and enema.

Are you one of those people who love coffees? Then, you probably already knew about the nutrition facts and health benefits of coffee. However, there is a bizarre way to boost health using coffee. It would be strange to inject the colon with caffeinated liquid directly. However, according to studies, a coffee enema can efficiently detoxify the gut and boost health.

Nowadays, doctors of alternative and functional medicines make use of coffee enemas to naturally fight Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Candida virus, liver dysfunction, constipation, overdoses, parasites, and even cancer.

What is an enema?

An enema is a procedure involving the insertion or injection of a liquid into the body’s anus or rectum. Its purpose is to flush out or eliminate potential threats to the body. What it usually does is to relieve constipation or cleanse the bowel.

There are available enema kits that are ready for use. The kit usually comes with a bag for the liquid, hose, plug, rectal tip, and hook to hang the bag up.

A coffee enema is one of those procedures which is a good for the body as a detoxifying solution. However, it is also useful in treating overgrowths in the stomach such as candida and other intestinal bacteria.

Many people opt to try this method because of the properties that coffee has. Coffee has features that could bind toxins from the liver and eliminate them out along with parasites and other bacteria in the body.

Benefits of Coffee Enema

Here are some of the benefits of coffee enema:

1. Fights Cancer

Max Gerson, M.D. helped many cancer patients through the use of coffee enemas. By the way, he authored the book published in 1958 entitled “A Cancer Therapy.” Dr. Gerson is the person behind coffee enemas’ popularity as a natural treatment for cancer. He introduced the use of daily enemas and nutritional supplements combined with a unique anti-inflammatory diet to hasten detoxification.

2. Treats Constipation

Adults usually suffer from constipation troubles. Thus, one of the most sought-after store-bought medicines is laxatives. Fortunately, coffee enemas can treat constipation in various ways. Firstly, the increase in water is inserted into the colon. It promotes the peristaltic motion in the gut. On the other hand, a portion of the water helps in producing more bile as well.

Enemas can mechanically affect the colon, boosting its activity. Thus, it facilitates the removal of food residues, feces, and toxins that can trigger constipation. It also manages the emptying of stool.

3. Enhances Detoxification

Other benefits of coffee enemas include serving just like “some sort of dialysis of the blood.” The procedure helps in ridding the bloodstream and gut wall of unwanted materials. Considered an artificial or a forced method, dialysis enhances detoxification. Coffee enemas do exactly what dialysis does. Thus, it helps to expel unwanted materials from the body.

Removing yeast, heavy metals, and dangerous parasites and mechanically cleansing the colon is the enema’s main priority to prevent and reduce inflammations and diseases.

4. Boosts Antioxidant Activity

One of the benefits of coffee enema is to boost the production of more glutathione S-transferase. By the way, glutathione S-transferase is an enzyme that contributes to the prevention of cellular damage, liver disease, poor gut health, and inflammations in the body by scavenging free radicals lurking in the digestive tract. Then, the gallbladder and liver produce bile, which carries the free radicals out of the body by way of bowel movements.

Other Benefits

Other health benefits of coffee enema include the ability to repair digestive tissue, improve mood, fight depression, boost energy, relieve nausea, bloating, and constipation, boost blood flow, aid in cellular regeneration, and improve immunity.

How to do the coffee enema method?

1. Materials

  • Buy an enema kit
  • Buy organic coffee beans and keep them in the freezer until use
  • Get a towel where you could lie down
  • Get a clean water (filtered water)
  • Have a pot to boil coffee
  • Use coconut oil (for lubricant)
  • Use strainer

2. Preparation

In a pot or saucepan, place 2 tbsp of organic coffee and add 3 cups of clean water. Bring it to boil until for about 15 minutes, and after that, put off the heat. When the temperature is cool enough for you, strain the coffee and place it in a clean container.

3. Set Up

When doing the enema procedure, it is important to be near the toilet. After that, the body will signal the elimination. So it is best to be near the toilet to prevent any trouble and hassle. Prepare the place where lying down is possible, put on a big towel or blanket, and have a magazine or a book to read.

4. Assemble the Enema Kit

Make sure first that the plug for the flow of the coffee liquid points to off position for it not to flow out. After that, pour the coffee liquid into the bag and hang it at least 1 meter above the ground. Next, test the flow of the coffee inside the hose making sure that all air bubbles are out. Once it is clear from air bubbles, put the plug back to off. Then, take the coconut oil and lubricate the rectal tip for easy insertion in the anus.

5. Start the Coffee Enema

Lie down on the left or right side (whichever is the most comfortable) with the leg up. Insert the rectal tip (which should be lubricated with oil) slowly until it’s about 1 inch inside. Then, switch the plug to on for the coffee to slowly flow. That’s it, and it’s ready to be released.

After doing the coffee enema, the body will feel much lighter due to the removal of toxins out of the body.

This procedure may indeed be beneficial to the body. However, without proper diet and lifestyle, nothing is going to change. To be safe before trying self-medication, it is always best to consult a physician if a person has any symptoms or medical case.
